...on myself (gah, that doesn’t sound right at all).

I am a grotesquely obese, ugly, Filipino slacker. I think that sums it up without room for augmentation. However, I’m sure Tim would annoy me for only including that much. So, even though I hate describing myself, let’s keep going!

I could at this point just talk about how nice, or understanding, or whatever I am but I’m sure that would come off as self serving or just a lie. So, instead I’m posting my thoughts on particular subjects. This way, everyone gets a better idea of the kind of psycho I truly am.

Also, I’m bored and without internet access as I write this. If you get bored, just move along. I won’t be mad. Promise.

…on hobbies.

I desperately need some (yeah, you can interpret that however you want). Anyways, my hobbies include writing, video games, basketball, and stupid collectible trading card games (yes, that one) I play with my nephew.

My main hobby is probably writing, I usually write anywhere from a page to ten pages a day if the inspiration is there. Unfortunately, I’m a terrible speller, have no sense of grammar, and no skill with the written word. However, I love doing it, so fuck off.

When writing, I’ll try to cover lots of different genres, but in the end most of what I create is fantasy garbage.

Second to writing are video games, which I’ve wasted most of life playing. I’m a big fan of RPG and RTS games, but I’ll play a FPS if need be. My current obsessions are MMOs, like World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XI. If I’m online and not saying anything, it’s probably because I’m playing either one.

…on professions.

Everyone always wonders how I make money. Truth be told, I wonder that as well. Right now, I’m a freelance web designer and programmer. I make websites for companies I’m sure no one here has ever heard, and likely never will.

It’s an ok job and it pays the bills, but don’t take it up as a career. That is, unless, you love web designing. If that’s the case, more power to you.

On the, I don’t get paid for jobs, side of things; I’m the webmaster of a slightly successful video games website. I’ve worked on it since the beginning of time, and I honestly have never put more time or effort into anything else.

…on people.

I’m not a people person. I am not good with people. I am probably ruining that quote from Office Space. Anyways, I’m really bad with other human beings. I’m exceptionally shy and quiet, and it takes an inordinately long amount of time for me to get comfortable around people I don’t know.

If you catch me in a public setting, I’m normally the ‘quiet guy in the back’ or the ‘who’s he?’ or even ‘is he a stalker or something?’ person.

...on women (ha-ha, no. all of you, out of the gutter).

If you think I’m going to talk my many relationships with pretend female counterparts, then well I’m going to gravely disappoint you.

I think all women are pretty. A select few out there are beautiful, but all of them are pretty. This isn’t some attempt to sound like a gentleman or even deep, because I really am neither. This is just a truth that many, both male and female choose not to know.

I’m sure some of you disagree, but you’re wrong. Also, I really don’t care who you bring up as a counter argument for this, because all women are pretty in some way or another. We all can’t see it, not because beauty is subjective and can different from person to person, but because we don’t choose to look.

...on religion.

I used to be Roman Catholic; I suppose I still am since I never truly renounced it or converted. However, I abandoned a lot of the beliefs that the religion held on to.

For one, I’m a firm believer in the one God theory. I know a lot of theologians have agreed on this, but many people still believe that the Islamic God, the Judaic God, and the Christian God are three different entities. I believe that they are indeed the same God, we’re all just praying to Him differently. I know it sounds odd, but it makes a lot of sense when you realize that all three religions come from Abraham.

Another thing I stopped believing in was the church itself. I don’t know what it was, but at some point the Catholic Church seemed more interested in stressing itself as the important part of the religion instead of, well, God. The church was always run by people, and people are far from perfect.

…on other things.

There was a bunch of other topics I was going to include, but I opted in favor of not sounding like a total alien. However, if you’re interested in talking about useless crap, or want to say I’m ass about something above, you’re welcome to bug me about. Just watch out, I’m cranky sometimes. ^^
